Former Special Education Teacher, wife of J.D. and mom of the four Greear children.

Veronica graduated from The University of Virginia with a BS of Education in Communication Disorders. She taught Algebra, English Literature and Life Skills to children with learning disabilities at Bunn High School and Northern High School. Her proudest accomplishment, during those years, was shepherding Bunn High School’s learning disabled students to their first ever passing grades on the End of Course Algebra Exam.

Once her husband, J.D., became the lead pastor at The Summit and their first child was born, Veronica has invested her time caring for her children and the people of Summit. She loves her family and her church and feels blessed to be on the front lines of taking the Gospel to her sphere of influence in the home and the church.

The Greears have four children at Trinity (Kharis ‘22, Allie ‘23, Ryah Layne ‘26, and Adon ‘28) and are so thankful the Lord led them here.

Veronica’s Heart for Trinity

What we have found in our years at Trinity is that a school can maintain an excellence in academics while not sacrificing a commitment to the Christian faith. My children have each thrived under truly excellent teachers who love them and love the Lord. The classical education model is unequaled, in my experience, and our family has been truly blessed by Trinity’s faculty as well as the families that make up this wonderful community.
