Ms. Zook earned her undergraduate degree in Social Studies Education from Liberty University after which she spent 4 years working in Lynchburg City Schools. Laura then returned to school herself, and earned a law degree from the University of Virginia. Following law school, Laura joined the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in Indianapolis, Indiana. For two years she served as a Deputy Prosecutor arguing cases in court with responsibility for over 200 open cases at any one time. In 1998, Laura left the law profession to raise her two children. After 10 years at home, Ms. Zook returned to education, and now teaches AP United States History, Ancient World History, Rhetoric, and the political/legal studies section of Senior Humanities at Trinity.
When not in the classroom, Laura is busy coaching Trinity cheerleaders, baking, reading, or driving her kids all around Raleigh.
