Gina Scrudato joined the faculty in 2015 and is serving as a fifth grade teacher. Gina has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading Education. She has taught for 16 years, mainly working in the public school system. Gina has served in a wide variety of roles from literacy specialist to classroom teacher . She has worked with children from kindergarten to college freshman. Gina is passionate about creating learning environments that nurture and challenge children both academically and in their Christian faith.
She enjoys being active and loves outdoor activities, as she is moved by God’s breathtaking creation. On weekends you can often find Gina running, biking, or reading outdoors. Additionally, Gina is active in prayer and scripture art journaling groups. Gina has been married to her husband Joe for over 20 years and is the mother of three precious children: Daniel, Michael, and Rachel. The Scrudatos are active members of their church, The Summit.
Gina feels blessed to have the opportunity to combine her education, love for children, and faith to lead the whole child, spirit, mind and body into a deeper relationship with the Lord and one another. She believes it is a privilege to be at Trinity where uncompromised faith can meet rigorous academics and prepare children to serve the Lord.
