Which grades are taught at Trinity Academy?

Trinity Academy teaches students from Transitional Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Our Lower School encompasses TK-6th grades, and our Upper School is comprised of Middle School (7th-8th grades) and High School (9th-12th grades).

When was Trinity Academy founded?

In 1999, Trinity Academy was incorporated when two schools: Regent School, a K-8th grade school (founded in 1995) and Trinity Academy, a 9th-12th grade high school (founded in 1998) thoughtfully merged due to their shared goals and beliefs. The first graduating class for the Trinity Academy we know today was in 2001. In 2005, Trinity Academy moved to its permanent home at 10224 Baileywick Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613.

Trinity Academy’s school mascot is the tigers, and our colors are black and gold.

How many students are at Trinity Academy?

In 2005, when Trinity moved to the Baileywick Road property in North Raleigh, enrollment was 200 students. Since then, Trinity Academy has experienced steady growth with current enrollment projected at over 615 students for the upcoming 2024-20254 school year.

Trinity Academy is dual accredited by SAIS (Southern Association of Independent Schools) and Cognia (formerly AdvancEd/SACS). Trinity is a member of the Society of Classical Learning (SCL) and the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools (NCAIS). Additionally, from a financial side, Trinity is accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
