Samantha Kilpatrick

Samantha Kilpatrick has practiced law for over 20 years in Raleigh. She and her husband Tom own Kilpatrick Law Group, PLLC. Prior to founding their own firm, Samantha was a solo practitioner with a practice focused on criminal defense. She also served as an assistant district attorney in the Wake County District Attorney’s Office. Samantha handles a wide variety of civil and criminal matters. She also provides legal services and training for faith-based organizations in the areas of child protection and abuse prevention. In 2018, Samantha was appointed to the Sexual Abuse Task Force of the Southern Baptist Convention and was a contributor and presenter for their Caring Well curriculum.

Samantha grew up in North Carolina, and graduated magna cum laude from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Studies. Samantha remains close to her alma mater, Meredith College, and serves as an adjunct professor teaching graduate students in the paralegal program. Samantha received her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill.

Samantha and Tom have two children – Mollie Pierce a Trinity alum (2019) and current student at UNC-Chapel Hill and Carter (2022). Samantha served as PATT Treasurer for two terms, and she also served two terms on the Trinity Board as vice chair. Samantha is a member of Providence Baptist Church.
