As grandparents, we believe we can offer our time and talents in various ways to support teachers, students and staff.  In non-COVID-19 times, opportunities to volunteer are varied and include the following:

  • Classroom helpers (reading, field trips, etc.)
  • Hot Lunch workers
  • Lower School Art helpers
  • Second Empire 5K Classic volunteers
  • Classroom Presenters (subject matter experts)
  • Baked Goods Bakers** (Board lunches with Senior Class)

** Even in COVID-19 times, there are opportunities to bake items for our teachers and staff. Send an email to gps@trinitycademy.com to let us know you are interested in this area of service.

To learn more about the various ways you can volunteer or to offer your help in an area, send us an email at gps@trinityacademy.com.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT

Meet Tom Holloman – Trinity Grandparent since 2008

Tom loves to volunteer in the kitchen during lunch on Fridays.  For two years, he has helped Maggie prepare food for children, set up the Atrium for guests and clean up afterwards.  Tom and his wife, Suzanne, have three grandchildren, two of which are at Trinity.  Tom loves the sense of community at Trinity that is filled with the Christian faith in all aspects.

Meet Zeke Zschiedrich –

Zeke’s biggest claim to fame is that he is married to Maggie who serves faithfully in the Trinity kitchen.  Zeke is very musical and loves to regularly play the piano while the children are eating lunch in the Atrium.  Zeke attends as many Trinity events as possible.
