Harmonia is an auditioned small ensemble made up of members of the High School Concert Choir. The four members this year are Lilly Bennett, Bella Dickenson, Elena Hibbs, and Lilly Kate Turner. Required to meet over lunch, these students are held to a high standard of performance and work diligently on their own to master difficult music. In this video, these engaging, expressive performers sang the humorous song, Taylor the Latte Boy. They are accompanied by Andrea Turner.

The High School Concert Choir is an elective curricular class made up of students who enjoy singing and making music with others. While these students have been apart from one another, it has been difficult not to sing together. While we cannot replicate the experience of singing together on stage, this performance of “O Danny Boy” represents the hard work of these students and the ways that they support one another, even virtually.

Cantus is also an auditioned small ensemble from High School Concert Choir. Eric Conger, Liam Davis, Patrick Dickenson, Andrew Hinkle, and Payne Knight gave up a lunch every week to work on their music and practiced on their own outside of school. Creative and fun-loving, this group never failed to entertain. Here they can be seen performing “I Get Around,” a song they learned and rehearsed almost entirely in distance learning. They are accompanied by Andrea Turner.
