Jane and her husband, Wesley, have been a part of Trinity Academy since 2005, when Matt (Class of 2016) enrolled as a 2nd grader. Son, Jacob (Class of 2019) followed a few years later as a Kindergartener and the Currins have been fully entrenched in the Trinity community ever since. Jane served on Trinity’s Board of Directors for 6 years, as President of PATT (Parents and Teachers at Trinity) for 2 years and in various other volunteer capacities before joining the Trinity staff as Director of Marketing and Communications in 2011.
A North Carolina native, Jane graduated Summa Cum Laude from Appalachian State University with a BS in Business Management. She was a 4-year starter on the Mountaineer Women’s Basketball team and was inducted into the ASU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000. She also attended the University of Kentucky where she earned her M.B.A. and served as a Graduate Assistant Basketball coach for the Lady Kats. She worked for AT&T in sales for 8 years prior to leaving the workforce to have a family. During her time as a homemaker, she was heavily involved in women’s event leadership at their church, Providence Baptist.
Jane enjoys gardening and birding and shares her love of bluebirds with Trinity’s 3rd grade class each year as they monitor the Trinity Bluebird Trail established by the Currin family in 2006.
