Vice President, Technical Support at Cisco

Steve Yager is responsible for Cisco Technical Services business in the Americas. From 2010 until early 2013 Steve led Cisco’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC) in the Americas as well as the High Touch Technical Services team globally. Steve joined Cisco in 2007 as the General Manager for the Remote Operations Services (ROS) business unit responsible for managing Cisco customer networks and enabling partners to better manage Cisco advanced technologies. Steve led the ROS business unit into profitably and ultimately integration into Technical Services.

Steve Yager has over 20 years of experience in the information technology and telecommunications industry As well, Steve has held various positions at corporations like Avaya, VISTA Information Technologies and MCI. At Avaya, Steve was General Manager of IP support services where he was responsible for reshaping Avaya’s managed services business unit. Steve was a part of the leadership team that helped pioneer Network Managed Services at MCI in the 1990s

In between working at large companies like Avaya and MCI Steve also had the opportunity to work in a couple of startups including VISTA where he was responsible for the Managed Services business seeing it grow until being acquired by Avaya. As well, Steve was a principal leader at Visitar, a software startup in the CRM service business where he led the development of multiple sales channels.
