Mrs. Knudsen has been teaching since 1989. Five of those years were spent teaching English in Sasebo, Japan to children and adults. After returning to the United States, she headed back to school earning her M.Ed. fFrom Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2000. Now, she enjoys leading teacher training and speaking at professional conferences.
When she is not teaching, Mrs. Knudsen enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors on her hobby farm, where she raises blackberries and grapes. She is a beekeeper and member of the Beekeepers Association of Granville County. One of her main teaching goals each year is to spread her love of God’s creation to her students. You never know what natural items you will find in her classroom from a stuffed bobcat to snake skins to live chickens. Stop by and check out her science table sometime.
