I look forward to seeing many of you next Saturday (April 22nd) at the Second Empire 5K and Spring Fling! As a reminder, there is also a 1-mile fun run at 10 am and Kids’ Dash (age 6 and younger) at 10:20 am. Full details, including links to registration, can be found here. After the 5K is Trinity Academy’s Spring Fling where concessions will be available for sale and various inflatables and other activities are set up around campus. This serves as a community building opportunity as we enter the final stretch of the school year!

Survey Follow-up

Thank you to everyone who completed a teacher survey providing feedback of your experience this year. I will begin to share some takeaways, both positive and constructive, with staff in the coming weeks. While there is no specific follow-up to you from these surveys, know that they are all read to help create the summary feedback I provide teachers.

I encourage you, in the time between now and the end of the school year, to share what you wrote in the survey with the teacher. If you had constructive feedback, it is always ideal to hear it from the source (you) rather than from their administrator. If you had only positive items to share, it always brightens someone’s day to receive praise and encouraging feedback, either via email, a hand-written note, or in person.

Traveling? Pick-up a Postcard!

As you or your family travel, please consider picking up a postcard (or two or three) from where you visit and donating those to Trinity. We will utilize these cards to create a postcard exchange which will allow us to receive postcards from a variety of places throughout the United States, as well as internationally. All we need are (blank) postcards from places you visit! Thank you in advance for your help.

Refer a family to Trinity!

Did you know that Trinity Academy offers any current family $1,000 for the enrollment of a new family, to be applied toward tuition? A new family will be asked how they first heard about Trinity and who invited them to an event or urged them to contact Trinity. If more than one current family has had significant influence on a new family’s enrollment, the amount will be divided evenly between these families.

If you know anyone considering Trinity for next year encourage them to apply; however, please encourage them to apply now specifically if they have an incoming 6th grade student! We are approaching a full group for next year’s 6th grade and want to make sure anyone you encourage to apply does so before we potentially hit our maximum enrollment for that grade level!

Summer Opportunities

Many families are seeking a variety of summer options for their children. If you are familiar with one that has worked well for your family, please feel free to notify me of key information (what, where, when, website or flyer). I like to have a list of those on file so that I can provide them to families who may ask.
